Curriculum enrichment with the West End Workshop – Alice in Wonderland
The children in Year 2 enjoyed the opportunity to re-tell the story of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ as part of the National Story Telling events in school this year. At the start of the session, the children were asked to recall events from the story. They listened carefully and answered questions to recall the story events in sequence.

The children listened carefully to the music that accompanied our dance and enjoyed the different rhythms, beat, volume and tempo.
We practiced each section of the dance before putting it together to retell the story. The children were so expressive, worked collaboratively and showed incredible focus during the session.
