New opportunities - moving to the KS2 playground
Year 3 have been exploring their new playground now that they are in Key Stage 2, and they really enjoyed it.
The children had a tour of the playground in week one, and they discussed how to use the equipment safely. Since then, they have had new opportunities to test out their balance, coordination and agility on the climbing wall and trim trail.
Year 3 have also been showing their team work skills when playing basketball; one of their new favourite sports.
When the weather permits, the children also have opportunities to use the Scrap Shed to build imaginative projects at lunchtime. It is a fabulous opportunity for the children to show their creative sides.
