Digital Ambassadors
We would like to introduce ourselves. We are the Year 6 digital ambassadors: Oliver, Rory, Aina and Alysia. We have been digital ambassadors for the past year and have recently been joined by our new year 5 digital ambassadors: Ellivia, Anoop, Swati and Mia.
We have a very important job in school. Our role is to help others stay safe online. This means we help to keep children safe on the internet, as it can be a fun but dangerous place. We are here to give advice and offer our computing skills and knowledge to help others. We help in lunchtime clubs in the computing suite, making sure that the children are doing safe searches and using the internet safely.
We also meet up regularly to discuss how we can help other pupils in school. Currently in our meetings, the year 6 ambassadors are supporting the year 5s in their training - they are looking forward to earning their digital ambassador badges! Lastly, we help to run whole school competitions and assemblies to raise awareness of online safety around school.
