We welcome parents and carers into school to participate in their child’s learning in a variety of ways. This includes joining us on
trips, ‘stay and play’ sessions, sharing professional skills, baking, hearing children read, making resources, gardening, painting
and much more! We also welcome parents and carers to share in assemblies, work showcases, musical performances and school
plays. In addition, we regularly provide curriculum information so that parents can be fully involved in their child’s learning.
Parental Involvement
in the School
Talbot Primary School has a very successful and active Parent Teacher Association (PTA). The PTA organises various
fundraising events throughout the year, for both children and adults, including Summer and Winter Fairs, discos, quiz nights,
fun runs, picnics and many more. The money raised by the PTA is used to buy various items for the school. In recent years
this has included new sports kits, outdoor play equipment for Reception classes, trophy cabinets, new reading and library
books, musical instruments and computer software.
